Appearance: Ballerine is a fairly average size for her breed, weighing in at eleven pounds if she were healthy. Because she has meandered for a couple months on her own, she is currently down to eight pounds and dropping. Her ribcages currently show, and her fur has grown and become tangled. Her skin is smooth and cream-colored, with darker speckling on her legs almost up to her shoulders. She has a pure white patch along her midsection. Her eyes are an incredible, lovely stormy gray color; as dark as a thundercloud. Her hair looks like overgrown, choppy, messy, snow-white bangs that nearly cover her eyes entirely. Her hair spreads up to her ears and hangs a good deal off. It also runs along her back and from her socks up to her shoulders and haunches. The plume on her tail is long and flowing. Ballerine, when healthy, looks exceedingly athletic - like she could beat a Greyhound in a race any day. She also holds a very feminine, chic look about her... except for her left ear that has a tear in it.
Personality: Ballerine is clever, proud, imaginative, impossibly creative, sharp, quick-thinking, and light on her paws. She is secretive and cautious towards outsiders, but once she gets to know you, she is (mostly) kind and loyal forever. Ballerine immensely enjoys using her charisma and beauty to her advantage. She never gives up, but it does not mean her optimism is always obvious, though. She is absolutely, painfully honest - but she also is an expert liar. She argues for sport and generosity is foreign to her. If you need someone dependable and not afraid to take the reigns, though, then Ballerine is great to have on your side. She is also a fabulous listener, and does not mind having her shoulder cried upon.

History: Ballerine was adopted by a human family as a puppy and lived with them until the disasters struck. She had never lived with other dogs, and so resorted to a life of wandering and surviving on her own. There was never a moment when that tactic was going well. She lived inside abandoned cars and picked her way through rubble for months. She earned a torn-up ear from her travels, and finally listened to her instincts to join a pack - no matter how out-of-place she might be.
