Appearance: He stands at 54 1/2 cm of height, with long legs built for running, colored white and speckled with black with feathered fur. His face is black with a white "blaze" and muzzle, and a black nose. His frame and size is quite agile and lithe, like a normal Collie, though slightly stockier like a Springer Spaniel. He inherited his mother's wavy, curly coat of fur as well as her coloring, black and white. However regarding size, he's more like a normal Border Collie, like his father, and willowy legs. His muzzle is quite long, as is his tail, which rests just above his hocks, white with a black splotch winding around it. His eyes are a dark auburn, a deep brown in hue, that are always sparkling happily, though his smile is usually a small, shallow smirk.
Personality: He is a very intelligent, sweet dog, that always prefers peace over power. He's quite mellow, and is always obedient to his Alpha, unless his heart and mind both tell him to disobey, which isn't often. He's brute strength is limited, however his speed is unmatchable for a larger canine, and he can make very deft, tight turns. He's can be stubborn in some things, and will never give up what's important to him, and is often a rock to those who need someone to lean on. He is afraid of those he loves dying before him, and him unable to save them. Losing a loved one is his worst nightmare, though he knows no-dog can live forever. He has a fairly short temper, but can control it, and won't usually act out on it. He is patient and stealthy, all his qualities amounting to making him the perfect hunter.
History: Daraiz was born in a litter of five, the second oldest with three sisters and one brother. Him being the peacemaker of them, he got along with every one of them, especially his little sister Layla. He grew up in an easy home, playing with his siblings, being cared for well by his parents and owner, and practicing his hunting out in the yard. Suddenly, his brother and mother's started to get sick, health decreasing. In less than a week they were taken away from the rest of the dogs, leaving Daraiz the wonder why, though he didn't think much of it until later. Days, weeks, and months passed, five week old Daraiz grew in to nine month old "Raizie", and there was still no sign of Layla nor Laikia, but Daraiz refused to believe they wouldn't come back, little did he know he had been extremely lucky, as they had been struck with distemper. By then, the rest of the pups aside from his brother had been mysteriously taken away, none returning.
It was down to Daraiz, his brother Jayiel, and their father, Bear. Now that the brothers were old enough, Bear began training Jayiel and Daraiz. While Jayiel took an interest in guarding and defending, becoming the keeper of the house, Daraiz's interest in hunting was piqued, not wishing to fight. His owner, a hunter, began taking him on duck hunts and such which he loved, and continued until he was two and eight months. That's when tragedy struck, and in less than a month, Daraiz found himself alone on the streets without warning. He had lost track of his one remaining parent and sibling, and was on his own to wander the streets and attempt to survive.
