Anoki

Appearance:Being roughly thirtythree inches at the shoulder and weighing 130 pounds, Anoki is a rather large wolf. His chest is deep, his legs stocky with large paws and has a heavy mantle. His coat ranges pale orange around his legs, deepening to brown and then a dusting of black along his back, mantle and head. His eyes are the dark gold of honey, edging on brown.

Personality: Despite his formidable size Anoki has a rather calm demeanor and rarely gets into fights. His sense of humour is well established and he often tries to see the light in others before the darkness though he is not a stranger to hardship. He's a romantic at heart. But, he often tries to hide his real feelings behind his humour, cracking a joke and smiling his signiture grin in the hopes no one will see him for who he is. He fights in a logical manner, having a good handle on his temper and not letting anger blind-sight. Anoki also has a dendency to take unnessacary risks in his quest to protect his loved ones. Also punishing himself for his failures and the things that are out of his control.
History: The pack Anoki was born into, lived on a mountainside thick with forests and therefore didn't gain a summer coat until he was 3 years of age. With his first pack, by the time he was 2 he had made a name for himself for being a good hunter. He spent a year as Gamma there alongside his brother Lootah. In his second year a famine hit his packs territory and some of the surrounding area. His pack had to team up with a neighboring pack in an attempt to keep from dying out. With more wolves they were able to cover more ground. The alliance went well, Anoki's brother and himself made fast friends with some males from the other pack. They were amongst the largest wolves there and were the most frequent to bring back meat. Soon the other packs Alpha started to covet them, thats when the alliance broke off. The rival Alpha attempted to win them by defeating their Alphress. Lootah had been a love interest of hers for some time so when he saw her being attacked he immediately went to her aid despite Anoki's warnings. He got in the way of a throat attack but gave their Alphess a chance to defeat the brute. Anoki stayed long enough for the famine to be over and be sure the pack would survive as he was still the main hunter. Lootah survived physically but he was not the wolf Anoki once knew. He left in his third Winter. For the next 2 years he traveled to many places, sometimes with the company of other males (and the occasional female) but mostly alone. At the age of 5, Anoki had found himself as a Warrior in a pack called Pine Summit. He spent a year there, making friends and finding a family. For the first time he felt he really had a place, but tradgedy struck as it often did and took it from him. Leaving him once again, a loner. With his friends gone in search of safe haven's off their own.
