One Man Destiny

The massive brute exit the shade of his den only to be blinded by the bright sunlight. A grunt of annoyance pasted his lips and he stepped out fully of his den. The great grizzly like male shook his pelt before taking a deep breath. The warm air swirled in his chest making his chest fall unevenly for a couple seconds. Running his pink tongue across his stained teeth, Nathan then stretched his achy muscles. A tight pop sound in his lower back made him sigh and return to a normal position. Sunset, orange orbs flickered around the silent lands of forbidden taking every bit of information. To the roots that tied tightly around the base of trees to the beetles that desperately crawled towards safety. With a twitch of his ear, the massive beta made his way towards the end of the clearing. The decision on wither he should head out now and go on patrol or wait ticked in his mind like a clock. With one quick glance around the territory and hesitatingly letting his eyes land on the Alphness den longer then needed, Nathan headed towards the borders. The sound of his massive paws ending the lives of twigs and weak leaves that had given up on its only life source, echoed in his ear. It was normal for the Shadow Swift pack to be so silent at this time of day for it was very early. The bird were now stretching their wings and singing their praise to the sky. Nathan moved around the territory emotionless like a zombie but more alert. Over the years of living in the protection of Shadow Swift pack, the Beta had learned the ins and outs of the whole territory. With a soft sigh, the brute pawed at his maw before continuing on the long walk alone.
