I got lost... Find me? [Nathan, Ariste]

Golden-silver eyes followed the ghostly frame, watching intensely to see if her move had worked. It proved it had as both her caught upon their hind paws, both vulnerable but Rose slightly more so, as she was off balanced from being forced onto her back paws. Muscles tensing under her silky, thickening coat, Ariste twisted with a snarl as Rose fought back, though clearly at the disadvantage against the pure black Demoness. She grunted slightly as she was kicked at and a pair of claws managed to scratch down her stomach enough to feel a sharp sting, but didn't break the skin or faze her enough to be torn away from victory that easily. Shifting so she wouldn't get pelted with the desperately flailing limbs, Ariste mustered her strength to shove Rose down onto her back, jaws parting slightly and jowls leaving her ivory teeth in full view. Bristled pelt far more ridged than ever, the highest ranking fae glaring coldly down at the Warrior. Paws thudding over the ground, she stood over Rose, maw opening as she imagined tearing the older wolf's throat out, for being disrespectful. However, before her cuspids would touch the soft flesh of her neck, and the thick ring of fur that surrounded it, she chuffed a few breaths, reigning in the urge to spill blood, though in her lands she had the full right. "Good." She spat, claws digging into the earth. "You deserve nothing more than Warrior, and unless you prove you deserve it, you'd better stop dreaming about it." She hissed angrily, leaning closer until Ariste and Rose were eye-to eye, hers murderous and unpredictable. She didn't move for a long time, still thinking about her decision to allow her to live possibly or not. "But you are a better Soldier than you were." She frowned cruelly, ear flicking. Lowering her muzzle to Rose's ear, she whispered quietly and harshly, "But not good enough for me, weakling." Raising her banter high, she stepped past Rose, to stand by Nathan. 'I'd have him punish her, but he'd probably do nothing. When I first game up he was far too friendly to Rose. She had only just been accepted, she could be from a different pack, spying!' She felt the marks that were still bleeding, enough to annoy her greatly and cause her to turn her head for a second, pink tongue swiping out to lap up the steady trickle of scarlet. Turning back to Rose, she snapped, stepping closer. "Go make yourself useful, and patrol the borders for Loners, or on watch for trespassers." She spat, ears perking skywards and moving her ears forward. "And next time you dare bother me,-" She said, a growl rising in her throat. "If you're dying, don't bother me." She finished her sentence, standing foward, clearly showing the alabaster femme wasn't nearly off the hook, and if she wanted to fight uselessly and taunt her, she would never back own.

Warrior Rose Beta Nathan

Nathan was shocked to see Ariste gather up enough self-control and not tear out Rose’s throat. He watched motionless as Ariste spoke to Rose in a tense, but firm voice. When she paused and stood beside him before finishing, he straighten his stance and rolled his shoulders. His expression was covered with confusion when they started to speak in past tense. So they did know each other…Than why on earth did they attack each other?! Maybe they were long lost enemies. Shrugging it off, he watched as Rose turned and took her leave. The limp in her step was impossible to ignore and even thought she was gone, he could still hear her whimpers of pain. Nathan’s stomach tossed and turned but he knew not why. Finally, when Rose was fully gone, the brute turned to face Ariste. He gave her a disapproving glare before glancing towards her wounds. Although he know not why the fight began, he still was angry at her for not allowing him to take the attacks. The last thing they needed for this pack was an injured Alpness. It wasn’t that he thought Ariste couldn’t handle a couple scars; it was the fact that it was his job to protect her with his life and instead of helping her, he stood there powerless. He respects the fact that she is the Alpness and he is just a beta, but they could have avoided this happening. Right? Nathan sighed and shook his head, it’s impossible to know what the right thing was to do since he had no idea why it started. But that didn’t matter anymore he guessed, the fight is over. The brute tighten his jaw while looking down at her. Finally, he flicked his muzzle in the direction of the den sites, ”Come on; let’s get you home so you can get some rest.” His voice held no room for argument and that was clearly to hear. Ariste had forced him to watch the fight; the least she could do for him at the moment is just listen and follow through. With that, he turned as started back home.
