White paws bounded through the leaves, the trees dropping them before the winter. Pink tongue rolled from her maw as she bounded out onto the bank of a creek. Rocks dug at her paws, but she was too happy to care. Swiping her tongue across her nose, she sniffed at the grounds curiously. There were many scents here, a border, a pack! Barking happily, she knew pack meant family, which also meant she wasn't alone. Tilting her skull back, she howled, hoping someone would hear her soon. Dropping her skull, she entertained herself by splashing in the cool waters of the creek, fish darted this way and that. Sure, Skye was young, being two years old, but she was simply happy, happy to be alive, but maybe not smart enough to realize not everyone liked her. She believed the world was a good place, not evil was found here, it would hurt her one day, if she didn't have someone to protect her.

Antiseptic's paws carried him to the border in order to patrol and leave his scent so others would know the border was there. He had just recently accepted two dog's at the same time, both became scouts. What he needed was hunters and warriors. His large body moved at great speed now, he had decided to break into a light run in order to cover the border quickly before heading to his den. Today was the day he promised to train Ballerine. Another scout that showed much promise in the skills becoming the best Scout. Of course training would be a bit more tough and things might change over time, but for now he had no doubt in his mind about training certain wolves. His ears perked as he heard a howl, he listened and then returned the howl to let the one who howled know that he was on his way. As he made it to where the howl came from, he slowed down and watched the area in case it wasn't just one. When he felt safe enough, he stepped from the shadows and stood directly in front of the dog. His ears perked forward and his tail was curled over his back. "Who are and what do you want from my pack Ebony Breeze?" His question was very simple, but perhaps he had said it a bit too tiredly. He shrugged gently and smiled warmly to show he meant no harm. His green eyes scanned the area and then went back towards the dog.

A howl was returned to hers and she stopped splashing in the water. Perking her audits, she turned her brown eyes to the wolf before her. Smiling gently, she walked out and shook her coat lightly, not wanting to get him wet. Waving her banner, water flicking around, she spoke in her sing song and soft voice.

I am Skye. I was hoping to join. I was bred for herding, i have a great sense of smell, and sight. I have fast reflexes too. I don't know what I would be useful for. I am not the strongest, yet I am fast.

She frowned a little as she bowed to the alpha. She didn't want to seem useless, but honesty was the best policy.

He nodded gently and grew quiet, he knew strength was needed to be a warrior but he could possibly train her to it. He once knew someone who had been so agile that she had become a beta, perhaps strength wasn't needed to be a warrior, just wits. "Well Skye, I am Alpha Antiseptic. Your skills are something of a scout, or a warrior. Tell me, can you fight and hunt?" To be truthful, Antiseptic figured this dog to be very young, he could see she was young but he didn't want to make her an apprentice. Scout's were fairly useful but he couldn't be the only one doing fighting. He had to find someone who would fight by his side. But in the mean time, his skills to judge were stopped here. He could train her and make her a warrior or let her explore her skills and be a scout. His ears flicked forward as he awaited a response from the smaller dog. His green eyes stayed on the white and black dog. He was completely adoring her pretty coat, not many a dog had come with such odd coloration's. His tail wagged slightly and he smiled warmly to her.

{OOC: Warrior Skye or Scout Skye? *Those are the two choices I can think of unless you wanna be a Hunter =p*}

Skye waved her feathery banner and nodded to the Alpha. He seemed nice enough, and she smiled brightly.

I can hunt. I can also fight. My speed is my skill, i don't have much physical strength.

Smiling, she shook out the rest of her coat and then folded her haunches onto the ground. Her soft brown eyes were looking nervous, but she was trying to hide it . Being in a pack was something she wasn't used to, could she do this? She doubted her skills at this, and she knew she would have to always work at it. In her blood was the urge to always please her Alpha, and she knew she would.

Antiseptic nodded to the words that she spoke, he knew exactly what rank he would bestow upon the she-dog. "I once knew a Beta that was purely agile, not much strength within her body but she held her ground." His words were very gentle and he smiled down at the smaller dog. "I have no doubt in my mind that you could take me down with a few quick moves after training." His green eyes sparkled with joy and he stayed very still. "Skye, I wish to train and teach you some things about your agility, until then... I wish for you to be a Warrior in my pack. But only if you accept to protect my family to the best of your ability. For if you have our back, then surely we will have your back." He always asked the questions in a different order then most regular packs. "All I ask is your loyalty. If you can provide that, then we shall walk to the camp together and your training will start when you are ready." His voice was calm and he was very ready to walk back to the camp that minute with the she-dog. He was very pleased since he could guess her answer, but he would be shocked if she answered something entirely different. But he knew deep down that she could be loyal, or she could be a leader herself. Either way, he would cherish meeting her since she seemed so joyous.

Waving her banner, she bowed to him respectfully and then smiled. He would not regret this!!! He would love her as a pack member, and maybe even as a protector. She would make sure he was safe, that would be her number one priority to this pack! Alpha above all

Antiseptic chuckled gently and his green eyes filled with happiness. "Well, Warrior Skye. Welcome to Ebony Breeze. Welcome to your new family." His tail wagged and he nodded, pleased to have her with his family. "Your training will start when you are ready, just come to my den and alert me. You'll be training with either Scout Brock or Hunter Daraiz, I'll of course see to it your both safe." He stood and stretched his sore muscles. He turned and started for the camp clearing, slightly turning his head to look at the she-dog. "You coming Warrior Skye? We must find you a den and then you'll be free to roam and get settled in." He turned back to the direction of the camp and started walking, ears flicking back to the she-dog and he smiled brightly.
